ITINERARY:

Day 1-2 Vancouver > Johannesburg, South Africa

Take British Airways to Johannesburg.

Day 3 Pretoria > Hohannesburg

 

Today set out to Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa. Visit the Greek-style Union Building. Take a cultural tour at Voortrekker Monument, a unique Monument which commemorates the Pioneer history of Southern Africa and the history of the Afrikaner.Later on some sightseeing in Johannesburg.

Day 4 Sun City > Palace of the Lost City

One of Africa’s premier vacation destinations, Sun City in South Africa is internationally recognized for its superb resort offering of hotels, attractions and world-class events. Check into The Palace of the Lost City Hotel 5* and enjoy yourself in the kingdom of pleasure.

Day 5 Pilanesberg Safari > Leisure Time > Crystal Court Dinner

 

Since animals are active early in the morning, we depart early and take the guided Pilanesberg Safari tour into the natural reserve. You will have the chance to see some amazing creatures at a very close distance. Keep an eye out for wild animals like elephant, lion, leopard, rhino, giraffe and antelope. The afternoon is yours to explore the Sun City. A Crystal Court Dinner is arranged for your superior experience. 

Day 6 Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe > Zambezi River Sunset Cruise

Take a flight to Victoria Fall, Zimbabwe.

Admire the world’s tallest waterfall - Victoria Falls presents a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River. It was described by the Kololo tribe living in the area in the 1800’s as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ – ‘The Smoke that Thunders’.  It is recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1989. Enjoy a sunset dinner on a fancy cruise while amazed at the magnificent view of the colorful glow and the animals such as hippos, crocodiles and elephants along the river.

Day 7 Game Drive > Optional Activity > Boma Dinner Show

 

Set out early in the morning into the field to see more animals and enjoy the view of breaking dawn.The afternoon is yours. There are many optional activities to choose from: African elephant ride, walk with lions or helicopter ride to the Victoria Falls. Dinner is at the famous Boma restaurant where you can try the authentic African barbeque and enjoy the drum dance at the same time.

Day 8  Victoria Falls > Port Elizabeth, South Africa

After breakfast, fly over to Port Elizabeth, located in southeast of South Africa.

Day 9 Tsitsikamma National Park > Knysna Lagoon Sunset Cruise

Explore Port Elizabeth in the morning. Then head to Tsitsikamma National Park to see the world highest bumgy jump bridge. Early evening, take a leisurely cruise and enjoy the unique beauty of the Knysna Lagoon.

Day 10 Cango Caves > Ostrich farm > Hermanus

Cango Cave is situated in a limestone ridge parallel to the well known Swartberg Mountains,admire finest dripstone caverns, with their vast halls and towering formations. Visit one of the ostrich farm and learn more about ostrich and the its products. Ride an ostrich for a special experience. Arrive in Hermanus at night.

Day 11 Bettys Bay Penguins > Cape Town

Set foot in the penguin reserve and meet the lovely black-feet penguins of South Africa. Transfer to Cape town. Take a 360 rotair to the top of Table Mountain for an amazing view of the Cape Town Harbor (if weather permits). Relax yourself in the hotel or have some fun at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront where you can find lots of entertainment and malls.

 

Day 12  Cape Peninsula > Cape of Good Hope

Start the day with a ride towards the south along the beautiful seaside road. Pass by the Cliffton Bay, where you can see the Twelve Apostles Rock. Lunch is a special Lobster meal. Take a gondola up to the Cape Point, from where you get to see the intersection of the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic. Walk down the hill to the famous Cape of Hop Hope.

 

Day 13 Cape Peninsula > Airport

After a brief city tour, head to the airport.

Day 14 London Winsor Castle > Vancouver

Stop over in London for half day. Visit the famous Winsor Castle, the Queen's home and also the largest castle in the world. Later on take the flight back to Vancouver.
