Day 1 Vancouver – Varadero, Cuba                                             

Take AeroMexico to Cuba with a stop-over in Mexico City. After arrival, transfer to Varadero and check into hotel. 


Day 2 Varadero - Bellamar Cave

Spend your morning in the most relaxing way. Walk along the world-famous Varadero Beach and have a refreshing Piña Colada. Enjoy the spectacular view of the Caribbean. After lunch, head to Montanzas to visit the largest Bellamar Cave in North & South America. The caves are 300,000 years old and 2500 meters long, with walls glittering eerily with crystals.

Day 3 Varadero - Havana (UNESCO)

After breakfast, set out to Havana, the capital of Cuba. A brief stopover at the home of Ernest Hemingway. Explore Havana for the rest of the day. After dinner, take a walk in the second oldest fort built by the Spanish and watch a cannon show performed by a 18th century troop.

Day 4  Valle de Vinales (UNESCO)


After breakfast, head towards Pinar del Río, a tobacco growing and processing industry center. We will visit a cigar factory to see how these world-famous cigars are made by hand. A guided tour in the tobacco field with professional explanation will definitely enhance your experience. See Valle de Vinales, one of Cuba's most magnificent natural settings. Take a cruise into one of the limestone cave and explore the Mayan ruins. Enjoy a traditional roasted pork dinner before returning to Havana.


Day 5  Havana - Mexico City


In the morning, take a ride in the vintage car around the city. Then fly directly to Mexico City and check into hotel. 

Day 6  Teotihuacan (UNESCO)


Head to Teotihuacan, the ancient capital of the Aztec. You can climb up the Pyramid of the Moon and the Pyramid of the Sun to have a great view of this site. Lunch at an authentic buffet restaurant with singing in traditional costume. Try the special drink made with tequila or watch how tequila is turned into strings and paper by the locals. 

Day 7  Taxco

Taxco is a town famed for its silver jewelry production and Spanish colonial architecture. This beautiful town is embedded in a region sheltered by rolling hills and mountains, but its historical past is also a major draw for tourists and visitors.

Day 8 Mexico City > Vancouver

After breakfast, head to Zócalo, the main square in the center of the ancient city of Mexico. Visit the National Palace, the federal administrative core. The world-famous murals inside shows the history of Mexico. Visit Mexico's Metropolitan Cathedral, the largest and oldest church in the America. It was built in 1573 and took 240 years to complete. Lunch is served in the 18th-century House of Tiles, where guests can enjoy authentic cuisine in a nostalgic and elegant setting. In the afternoon pause at the Monument to the Revolution and the Palace of Fine Art. Then go to the airport, at dusk by direct air back to Vancouver.
